Summer Sewing Session: Spring Roll Pouch

Just like the favorite food, the Spring Roll Pouch wraps up so much goodness in one little package. This multi-purpose accessory bag has a great rectangular shape and an angled zipper at the side, making the pouch open to twice its footprint! The main zipper opens to reveal three interior zippered pockets with ample room to organize all of your craft supplies, cords, skin care or travel essentials.

Designed by Cristy Stuhldreher of LoveYouSew, this bag is simplified with sleek style and minimal seams. There are four different inside options of the bag for you to mix and match for your needs. Or keep things basic and leave them all off for a streamlined version. Best of all, the lining finishes with hidden seams for a clean and polished look.

In this Session you will learn how to sew Y-seams, create handy zipper pockets and learn several finishing techniques, including adding rivets for strength and style. You'll learn how to make a divided compartment pocket and how to make other pocket styles for the pouch interior, too, but the kit for this Session includes materials for the zippered interior pockets.

This kit includes beautiful canvas and quilting cotton fabrics by Art Gallery Fabrics, designed by Suzy Quilts. The coordinating zippers and gold hardware add a polished, designer finish. Included are materials for three interior zippered pockets, including two flat zip pockets (supplies for the optional elastic, divider, slots and slip pocket are not included in kit).
