Serger Sewing Session: Next Level Serger Success

Are you ready to take your serger education to the next level?

In this Session, sewing star Katrina Walker will teach you intermediate serger techniques and take you through a table runner and BONUS coaster project that showcases those techniques.

Katrina is a sewing designer, educator, and author known for her expertise with sergers, machine embroidery, construction techniques, textiles and Modern American Pojagi piecework. She enjoys teaching innovative and alternative construction methods to both garment sewing enthusiasts and quilters.

Katrina will teach you serger tension settings, serger maintenance, utility & decorative feet, how to serge corners & curves and how to "quilt as you go" with a serger.

With your registration, you'll receive the Quilt-as-you-Go Serger Table Runner Pattern FREE, an $8.99 value!

This pattern contains all the instructions for creating a table runner that's constructed and quilted in the same step - all on the serger. Choose to bind the table runner using a specialty serger attachment or with your sewing machine. It's up to you!

Katrina also teaches a BONUS coaster and coaster holder project to use with the fabric in the QAYG Serger Table Runner Kit, with additional Sulky Felty for softness and structure. This project showcases the "Serging Shapes" techniques you'll learn throughout the Session. The pattern comes with coaster templates in two shapes and the full-size coaster holder pattern, too.

DETAILS

Over the course of 5 Lessons, you'll become best friends with your serger, expanding your technique knowledge along the way. Gain confidence with tension, engaging and adjusting the cutting knife settings and more with Katrina as your guide.

Testimonials

This class is so enjoyable and helpful! Thank you.

Bernadette M.

This lesson on adjusting the cutting blade to improve the appearance of the stitches is worth the whole amount of the enrollment. I never knew this. LOVE it.

Anita M.

Thank you for showing how to adjust the blade to make sure the edging is perfect! I recently made something with my serger and didn't know how to use this adjustment!
